Ronald G. Sheppard

In 1995, Ronald Sheppard was involved with the development of one of the original decompression tables. He has been extensively involved in the decompression industry for twelve years.

In 2000, Dr. Sheppard designed and developed the ABS table with the coordination of researchers and engineers of North American Medical Corporation, based in Marietta, Georgia where the tables are manufactured.

In 2006, Dr. Sheppard designed and developed the ABS ULTRA, again, in conjunction with the outstanding research team at North American Medical. The ABS Tables are the finest decompression tables available in the marketplace today – they offer you the most value for your dollars.

Dr. Sheppard attended Purdue University majoring in Biology/Chemistry with a Mechanical Engineering background before completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College in 1978.

Dr. Sheppard is founder of Castleton Chiropractic Clinic and has been a practicing chiropractic physician for over 29 years. He was chairman of the Indiana Board of Chiropractic Examiners for 10 years and a past president of the Indiana State Chiropractic Association. He spends the majority of his time working with the ABS Company and offering technical support to those physicians and hospitals which have purchased decompression tables.

Dr. Sheppard has hundreds of hours of post graduate, specialty and accredited continuing education. Dr. Sheppard is current with the latest technology and knowledge base, via ongoing educational programs and accredited state board approved post graduate seminars.
